Friday Squid Blogging: NGC 1068 Is the “Squid Galaxy”

I hadn’t known that the NGC 1068 galaxy is nicknamed the “Squid Galaxy.” It is, and it’s spewing neutrinos without the usual accompanying gamma rays.
