The NYT Will A-N-N-O-Y Wordle Fans With Even More Ads

The once-sacrosanct halls of Wordle are adding new ads. When you hit “Play” on the Wordle mobile app, you’ll now be treated to what advertising boys call an “interstitial” ad, meaning the video or the image takes up your entire screen.
